The Sindh Education and Literacy Department recently conferred the “Life Time Achievement” award to Ms. Sara Mohyuddin, Founder and Administrator of Karachi Public School.

Sindh Minister of Education Mr. Pir Mazhar ul Haq bestowed the award at a well attend ceremony, highlighting the role played by the eminent educationist in a long illustrious career. The joy of the moment provided a golden chance for reflection and appraisal of her individual goals and commitment to responsibilities.

Ms. Sara Mohyuddin’s journey in the field of education began more than fifty years ago. Having served as the principal in several renowned institutions in the initial phase of her career, she gained recognition and respect along the way.

Finally in 1980, she began her own school by the name of Karachi Public. With a clear vision and determination, she embarked on the next phase of her career. In a few years, Karachi Public School became recognized among the leading schools of Karachi and its name became synonymous with quality education. Today, KPS boasts of seven branches having more than 8000 students on roll. In all spheres, students of Karachi Public School have won laurels and kept the flag flying high.

Ms. Sara Mohyuddin’s efforts have been suitably recognized. She has worked with single minded devotion in the face of obstacles and is an icon for others to follow. The staff and students are proud to be a part of her team. The honour bestowed on her should serve as a boost to others to aspire to a higher level of dedication to work.
